Hi, I'm new to Typo3 so excuse my ignorance.

I have installed Typo3 version 4.3.2 and the powermail 1.5.3, I have read the manual, but somehow things seem to work a little diffrent (might be due to the new version or so, or maybe I'm just missing something).

I have added the plugin to a to the main column, filled in all required fields etc.
but somehow I keep getting the error:

powermail Error: Please fill in this backend field: Email receiver subject

I'm trying to replace the <div id="powermail"></div> with the prober content.

# Main TEMPLATE cObject for the BODY
temp.mainTemplate = TEMPLATE
temp.mainTemplate {

  # Feeding the content from the Auto-parser to the TEMPLATE cObject:
  template =< plugin.tx_automaketemplate_pi1

  # Select only the content between the <body>-tags
  workOnSubpart = DOCUMENT_BODY

  subparts {

    	powermail < plugin.tx_powermail_pi1
  }
}

What am I doing wrong?

If you want to output powermail on a subpart or marker, you can add a powermail-plugin to a (e.g.) sysfolder and output the complete sysfolder content.
Why: powermail needs an entry in the field email receiver subject...

P.S.: Why is everybody using the superfluous autoparser?

I did solve it eventually:

subparts {
    	powermail = CONTENT
	powermail < styles.content.get
  }

Mmmm.. I quess you can blame it all on the tutouial on typo3.org (It's actually the only way I know).
Why is it superfluous?
