ich habe das selbe problem -> immer wenn ich ein news element erstellen will dann kommt nur eine weisse seite:
typo 3.5.0
news und news+ installiert
sysfolder und LIST,LATEST,SINGLE pages erstellt, kategorien im sysfolder, -> und der sysfolder liegt im root -> kann aber keine news beiträge erstellen...
möglich, dass typo3 einen fehler irgenwo produziert.
wenn du zugriff auf die php.ini hast, dann schalte dort einmal das errorlogging ein. vielleicht steht ja dann auf deiner weissen seite zumindest eine fehlermeldung.
bei mir war das problem, dass ich
gd 1 und gd 2 lib in der conf enabled habe , aber nur gd2 verwende..

ich habe error_reporting (E_ALL ^ E_NOTICE); in localconf gesetzt, aber das lieferd gein error auf

GD Support enabled
GD Version bundled (2.0.12 compatible)

then i dont want to insist anymore. maybe you can live with the bug, or find a solution, but atm i cant see any bug, i have to look inside your typo installation...
