Ich verzweifel gerade! Wie ändere ich die Symlinks unter Windows?
Die Anleitung bei jweiland.net geht von einem Linuxsystem aus, was ich nicht habe. Typo ist bei mir lokal installiert (WinXP). Hier im Forum hab ich auch keinen passenden Thread gefunden. Wie gehe ich am besten vor um die Symlinks zu ändern. Alle anderen Schritte - neue Source an die Richtige stelle kopiere und ersetzen, Dateien anpassen etc. - hab ich schon gemacht, nur das mit den Symlinks bekomm' ich nicht hin?

sorry wenn ich mich oute, aber seit wann kann windows symlinks?
Wenn mich nicht alles täuscht gibts die, oder ich verstehe was Grundlegeng falsch.
Hab auch was gefunden ,und genau nach Anleitung gemacht, klappt trotzdem nicht! Kann das Installtool immer noch nicht aufrufen um die weitern Schritte (Compare usw) durch zu führen.

These are 2 differents batch that you can copy-paste into a new text file and rename as you like. Put the batch file in your main TYPO3 directory before running it.
The batch consider that you place the junction freeware (http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/source/misc.shtml#junction) in the WINNT directory. For XP or 2003 change WINNT for WINDOWS.
Quickstart Batch

Use Winbolic, it has a GUI and is really nice to navigate and create/remove NTFS junctions/Shell links.

Wenn ich das Installtool aufrufe kommt folgende Fehlermeldung:
Warning: main(C:/apache/htdocs/quickstart/typo3/ext/install/mod/class.tx_install.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\apache\htdocs\quickstart\typo3\init.php on line 215

Und beim Aufruf des BE kommt folgende Meldung:
Warning: mysql_fetch_assoc(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in C:\apache\htdocs\quickstart\typo3\t3lib\class.t3lib_db.php on line 741
Na, da wird bei dir itgendein Pfad ins falsche Ziel weisen.
Ich arbeite auch mit junction link magic unter WIN XP,
das läuft tadellos. So teilen sich ca. 20 Installationen eine TYPO-Source.
Die Symlinks unter Linux sind allerdings gefahrloser, denn wenn du einen Windows-Symlink im Explorer löschts, wird auch das Zielverzeichnis gelöscht, also immer schön gucken, was man da löscht.
Gegebenfalls erst die Verknüpfung wieder aufheben und dann löschen 😉
