Typo3 Install Tool: Basic Configuration (ERROR)

Hello everybody,
hoping you understand english and can help me.
I've got a problem during installing of Typo3 3.8.0. Its the first step in the Typo3 Install Tool - Basic Configuration. Under "Check Database" I need to enter a username and password. The problem is that I have no idea what to enter there. Here's a screenshot:

I use Apache 2.0.54 with PHP 4.3.11 on Windows XP Home Edition and MySQL Server 4.1. Everything works, except this step. What username and password shall i enter there?

(you can answer in german, no problem)

have set a password for mysql?
If you don't have the default user ist root without a password.

Thank you. Yes i changed the password but i could login with this password by console and could NOT continue installation with this password :o I have uninstalled MySQL and installed again and didn't change default security setting, now it works, but without any passwords. Its not secure, but moretheless I'm happy that it works, thank you 🙂
