eigentlich reicht es wenn du die Zeile auskommentierst.
Einfach ein // davor.
Hast du nach der änderung überprüft ob du nicht ein Cache problem hast?
Wenn du das File öffnest kommt eine Fehlermeldung oder wenn du es im Browser aufrufst?
Guck doch mal ob die Berechtigung der Datei stimmt.

ich hab nun die zeile auskommentiert. doch jetzt kommt folgende meldung

Aber ich glaube nicht das dies das problem sein wird, da apache die Datei ja öffnen kann.
Du konntest sie ja auch Öffnen und die Zeile auskomentieren.
Eigentlich sollte alles funktionieren nach dem Auskommentieren.
Guck doch mal ob du auch die richtig Datei änderst.
Nicht das du zwei typo3 verzeichnisse hast.
was für eine PHP-Version benutzt du denn?
ab PHP4.3.0 hat sich die define syntax leicht verändert
ist schon die richtige datei
ist 4.3.1 php..
ich hab einfach vor die "DIE" funktion ein // gemacht dann kommt halt die meldung. komisch oder!
ich hab das cms bei all-inkl aufm server! also nicht au fmeinem eigenen rechner
poste mal die Zeile 48 und Zeile 47 hier rein damit ich gucken kann ob sie richtig ist.

Vielleicht hast du weiter oben irgendwo ausfersehn ein zeichen reingesetzt bei dem auskommentieren.

Die Seite “http://cms.derluke.de/quickstart/typo3/install/index.php?mode=123&step=1&password=joh316” konnte nicht geöffnet werden, da Safari keine Daten von dort laden konnte.

den die befehl..
ok bin jetz irgendwie in der install gelandet..also im typo 3.5.0 install tool, site : quickstart
dort kann ich einiges in die leftconfig.php oder so ähnlich speichern. jedoch nich t in basic configuration bzw database analyser, da sagt er mir die seite gibts net
aber hoffentlich nur das die() oder ?

Wie rufst du das installationscript im Browser denn auf?
Hmm also falls du mit dem link deine Basics nicht ändern kannst stimmen entweder die symbolieschen Links nicht oder dein quickstart version ist kaputt.
Du hast oben was geschrieben, was auf keinen Fall fusionieren kann:

Damit hast Du das "die" überhaupt nicht auskommentiert sondern
kriegst nun einen Syntaxfehler, weil Du der Funktion den Parameter
abgeschnippelt hast.
Sollte so aussehen (mit vier Zeilen davor und danach):

// Insert some security here, if you don't trust the Install Tool Password:
// **************************************************************************
// die("In the main source distribution of Typo3, the install script is disabled by a die() function call.<BR>Open the file typo3/install/index.php and remove/out-comment the line that outputs this message!");
