Syntax error or access violation: 1071 Specified key was too long

Liebe TYPO3-Gemeinde,

dies ist mein erster Forenbeitrag und ich möchte vorweg nehmen, dass ich mit der Hilfe von Google und sämtlichen Foren, die ich finden konnte, keine Lösung für mein Problem erhalten habe. Daher wende ich mich nun direkt an euch mit folgendem Problem:

Ich habe auf meinem MacBook Pro (OS X Maverick) versucht, TYPO3 Neos zum Laufen zu bekommen, leider nur mit mäßigem Erfolg.

Mit Hilfe des Composers habe ich die aktuellste Version (1.0.1) heruntergeladen und den vHost entsprechend gesetzt. Die Seite lässt sich dank

sudo ./flow core:setfilepermissions username _www _www

auch entsprechend aufrufen.

Beim Aufruf des Setup und der Datenbankmigration erhalte ich nun allerdings einen 500 Internal Server Error.

Wenn ich nun anfange, einige Migrationsdateien anzupassen:

CREATE INDEX path_workspace ON typo3_typo3cr_domain_model_nodedata (path(255), workspace(255))

statt

CREATE INDEX path_workspace ON typo3_typo3cr_domain_model_nodedata (path, workspace)

kann ich zwar das Setup ausführen, die Verwendung des Kickstarters etc. funktioniert dann allerdings nicht.

Nun bin ich mir unsicher, ob es sich um unabhängige Probleme handelt. Deshalb möchte ich zunächst wissen, ob oben genannter Workarround richtig ist oder zu weiteren Fehlern führen kann.

leider kann ich Dir gerade auch keine so ganz tolle Lösung anbieten. Ich habe von diesm Fehler bisher 2 Mal gehört und weiß nicht genau warum er dann auftritt. Wäre total super, wenn Du mir (auch gerne per PM) deine Systemkonfiguration zukommen lassen könntest, speziell welche MySQL Version das ist und wie die my.cnf aussieht.

Dein Workaround sollte zum testen erstmal reichen, kann nur sein, dass manche queries langsamer sind als erwartet. Macht aber funktional nichts.

Zunächst sei darauf hingewiesen, dass ich zur Administration eines Systems nur bedingt qualifiziert bin. Ich hoffe, meine Informationen helfen dennoch weiter, um den Fehler zu finden.

Meine "my.cnf" ist blank. Ich lege lediglich folgendes darin fest (dies allerdings nur zu Testzwecken - hatte mit der storage-engine herumgespielt):

Damit bekommt man den Fehler. Vielleicht können wir das aber irgendwie lösen.

Anpassen von innodb_large_prefix = OFF auf innodb_large_prefix = ON hat noch nicht geholfen, aber die neuen Migrationsdateien schon.

Für alle, die auch eine längere Leitung (wie ich) haben, hier kurz meine Vorgehensweise:
Ich habe die 4 Patchdateien aus dem Link oben heruntergeladen und die alten durch diese ersetzt. Anschließend funktionierte die Migration durch das Setup ohne Fehlermeldung.
