hi all,

i have problems to render required fields in my directmailtemplate.
The only required fields i have for subscription are name and email (from a/the default template).

whenever i copy/paste the part from name ( <!--###SUB_REQUIRED_FIELD_name### begin
This is shown only if the form is submitted and the field is configured to be "required" and at the same time not filled in.
The syntax is of the comment 'name' is: SUB_REQUIRED_FIELD_[enter-the-field-name-here]
-->
<font color=red><strong>You must fill in this field!</strong></font><BR>

<!--###SUB_REQUIRED_FIELD_name### end --> )

and i change the fieldname from name to first_name, they sub_required_field tag is shown in the template as it is, and is not hidden at first.

in my typoscript setup code i have this. the html=1 entry works, so some part of the TS is correct, but the part for first_name is totally ignored.

plugin.feadmin.dmailsubscription{
  table=tt_address
  create.overrideValues.disable = 1
  create.overrideValues.module_sys_dmail_html = 1
  create.required = first_name, email, last_name, name
  edit.required = first_name, email, last_name, name
}

Anybody knows why the new required field is not rendered?

Thnx in advance!

I just stumbled over the same problem. "SUB_REQUIRED_FIELD_name" works, "SUB_REQUIRED_FIELD_first_name" or "SUB_REQUIRED_FIELD_phone" doesn't. Were you able to resolve this?
