habe soeben versucht Typo3 auf dem Server meines Providers zu installieren. Leider gibt es dabei Probleme.
Bei dem Aufruf der Installationsdatei gib er folgende Fehlermeldung aus:
Error in init.php: sitepath not specified correctly.
This happens if the last 6 characters of this path, /, ($temp_path) is NOT 'typo3/' for some reason.
Or did you set constant TYPO3_MOD_PATH in your module?

Beim bloßen Aufruf der Quickstartdatei erscheint folgende Fehlermeldung:
Cannot find configuration. This file is probably executed from the wrong location.
Auf Nachfrage beim Admin meines Providers bekam ich nur die Erklärung, daß er auch nicht wisse, wie der Fehler zu beheben sei, da er Typo3 nicht kenne. Kann es sein, daß Typo3 nicht unter Windows-Servern läuft?
Local habe ich das ja problemlos unter Apache zum Laufen bekommen.
