Hallo,
um die Benutzerauthentifizierung über eine externe Datenbank zu machen, habe ich die entsprechenden Extensions installiert und anschließend in einem SysOrdner ein Datasource erstellt.
Beim Testen der Verbindung erhalte ich dann folgende Meldung:
Error in init.php: Path to TYPO3 main dir could not be resolved correctly.
This happens if the last 6 characters of this path, /var/www/typo4/typo3/sysext/adodb/, (\$temp_path) is NOT "typo3/" for some reason.
You may have a strange server configuration. Or maybe you didn't set constant TYPO3_MOD_PATH in your module?

Leider kann ich nicht all zu viel damit anfangen und auch Google und die Forensuche haben mich nicht weiter gebracht.
Weiß vielleicht jemand, was genau die Fehlermeldung bedeutet und wie das Problem gelöst werden könnte?

Hat sich erledigt. Nach Installation der neusten Version von adodb taucht der Fehler nun nicht mehr auf.
