Hello,
First of all, sorry for my English, I'm from Belgium and I understand German, but I cannot write it, so I write in English.
What about the mm_forum?
We (that is: www.userbase.be) have a phpbb forum (a little bit smaller than this forum) and we want to switch to typo3 (because we want to do more than just being a forum).
The problem is that chc_forum doesn't cut it.
So I was wonderring how far you guys are with the mm_forum. Is it gonna take a long time until the release? (because we can't afford to wait a few more months, we'll habe to switch to something else then)
greetings and thanks for the help,
Nob
Hello,
Don't regret English - we all understand 😉
mm_forum is still getting developed and because most of it happens in spare time of the developers, it is not the fastest project.
I can't tell you a release date because we don't want that pressure for ourselves. I hope you understand that.
georg
thanks for your understanding concerning my English. ;-)
I understand why (our site is also based on volunteers ;-) ), but is it possible to give a direction... weeks/months/years?
And what are the things that have to be done before completion?
(it's too bad typo3 lacks a good forum like this one)
greetz,
Nob
Hi,
still to do is the rights management and some other things. We know that there is no real good forum out there for TYPO3 and that is the reason why we want to to it the right way.
It's hard to give directions but I believe in some months but don't nail me on that 😉
georg
Just2b, thank you for your information and thank you for developing mm_forum.
In the mean time, we'll try to manage with phpbb, but we can't wait to start using typo3 and mm_forum! 😉
greetings,
Nob
Any news on this?
A few months have gone by...
In our testsite, we integrated phpbb:
http://indigo.dev.anigraphics.be/forum/
But we would like mm_forum. Any news on the development front?
Should we wait or just proceed with phpbb?
greetz,
Nob
