path to ext

Hallo

im Moment binde ich ein template in die /pi/class.tx_xx_pi1.php
so ein:

$templatefile = $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'].'/typo3conf/ext/xy/pi1/templates/template file.tpl';

gibt es eine besser Moeglichkeit??

wie wärs mit: EXT:xy/pi1/templates/tmpl.tmpl

genau so in Verbindung mit

$template=$this->cObj->fileResource($templatefile);

$pfad = EXT:database/pi1/template_table.tpl;

ergibt:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in..

Da fehlt noch etwas?

$pfad = t3lib_extMgm::extPath($extKey).'/pi1/template_table.tpl';

Bei mir hat es jetzt mit:
$path = t3lib_extMgm::extPath($this->extKey).'pi1/database.css';

gefunkt :-)
