Hallo,
ich bin ein totaler Anfänger in Typo3 und arbeite gerade ein Einsteigerbuch durch (Galileo). Bisher klappt auch alles mehr oder weniger, habe Seiten erstellt eine Designvorlage eingebunden und ein Textmenü fertig.
Ich arbeite mit dem Mozilla. Da im Mozilla aber die Werkzeuge im Editor für die Textbearbeitung nicht dargestellt werden, habe ich heute im Explorer weitergemacht. Mit Schrecken habe ich feststellen müssen das die Seiten im Ex. absolut fehlerhaft angezeigt werden. Eigentlich ist von der ganzen Seite, samt Menü etc. nur noch ein grauer Streifen zus sehen.
Ist das vielleicht üblich, solche Probleme? Woran liegt das? Und, wie kann ich das ändern? HILFE!

Hat vermutlich nichts mit Typo3 zu tun - check mal den Quelltext, warum der IE nicht will!
IE hat manchmal eine eigene Art Dinge (vor allem CSS) zu interpretieren 🙂
hm, also wenn ich die Designvorlage im Explorer öffne ist alles noch Ok. Ich habe mir en Quelltext angesehen. Dort steht jetzt etwas von Browser etc. Das steht in der Designvorlage nicht. Auch wenn es jetzt etwas lang wird, ich kopiere den Quelltext der HTML datei, so wie sie nach Typo3 bearbeitung im Explorer aussieht, hier her. Vielleicht liegt das Problem bei der Typo3 installation?

Das ist normal - das hat damit nichts zu tun, poste mal deinen gesamten Quelltext...
ich habe jetzt festgestellt das die Seite ganz weit nach unten gerutscht ist, so man sie erstmal nicht sieht. außerdem funktioniert das Menü nicht. Was kann ich tun?

Poste doch mal dein HTML Template, damit man sehen kann wo deiner Marker gesetzt sind. Und gib deinem CSS File einfach mal nen anderen Namen, damit der Browser es nicht finden kann.
Aber ich würde mal ganz stark auf ein CSS Problem tippen.

Ich habe keine Ahnung wie, aber jetzt ist alles in Ordung. Habe hier geändert und dort (aber nur im TypoScript) und dann gings plötzlich!
