Database Error bei der Installation

Hallo!
Ich habe ein Problem bei der Installation von Typo3 quickstart-3.7.0! Nachdem ich alle Dateien am Webserver upgeloadet habe und anschließend den /quickstart Ordner öffne, um Typo3 zu installieren, bekomme ich immer folgende Meldung:

In the source distribution of TYPO3, the install script is disabled by a die() function call.
Fix: Open the file typo3/install/index.php and remove/out-comment the line that outputs this message!

No database selected
Database Error

Habe die Zeile in der typo3/install/index.php auch schon entfernt, nur dann funktioniert gar nichts mehr.
Kann mir jemand bei dem Problem helfen?

Probierte es nochmals, jetzt wo ich die ganze Zeile - auch den IF Befehl - löschte, funktioniert es.
