hi,

im hauptverzeichnis / www-verzeichnis liegt eine .htaccess, die ich für simulate static document benötige.

wie kann ich meine verzeichnise schützen, d. h. wie muss ich die htaccess erweitern/modifizieren?

ist es richtig, dass man die htaccess in das cgi-verzeichnis legen kann? was muss ich tun, damit simulate static noch funktioniert?

.htaccess files (or "distributed configuration files") provide a way to make configuration changes on a per-directory basis.

Legst du die .htaccess Datei in dein CGI Verzeichnis, dann wird sie nur beachtet, wenn der Apache eine Anforderung für das CGI Verzeichnis bekommt. Also NICHT bei einer Anforderung im document root Verzeichnis.

Wie das allerdings bei PHP/CGI gehandelt wird kann ich dir im Moment leider nicht sagen (Habe PHP/CGI noch nie ausprobiert :o )
