Hallo!
Versuche gerade(nach der Anleitung von Kaspar Skarhoj's "Der Einstieg") typ03 auf einen XP/Localhost zu installieren.
Bei mir läuft PHP 4.3. Register_globals sind auf on.
Beim Browser-Aufruf des Typ03-Installationsverzeichnis
blitzt wie beschrieben kurz "Database Error" auf, danach kommt aber folgende Fehlermeldung.
In the main source distribution of Typo3, the install script is disabled by a die() function call.
Open the file typo3/install/index.php and remove/out-comment the line that outputs this message!
Die()-Funktionen gibt es in index.php insgesamt fünfmal.
jeweils 1mal in den Zeilen 59, 85, 86, 107 u. 109.
59: if (!@is_dir(PATH_typo3conf)) die("Cannot find configuration. This file is probably executed from the wrong location.");
85: if (!defined ("TYPO3_db")) die ("The configuration file was not included."); // the name of the Typo3 database is stored in this constant. Here the inclusion of the config-file is verified by checking if this var is set.

Den Text der Fehlermeldung finde ich auch nicht.
Wird wahrscheinlich aus irgendeiner include-Datei kommen.
Wie soll ich da weiter vorgehen?
Soll ich in einer der Zeilen das Kommentarzeichen setzen? Oder?
Bitte kann mir jemand helfen das CMS zum Laufen zu bringen.
