Hello all!

First, apologies for English, mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut, second, apologies if I am posting in a wrong forum, see first 🙂.

My question concerns the typo3 extension called Sevenpack. It's a publication manager, rather elaborated and customizable one, but with limitations I wasn't able to overcome, not being a programmer, but which I'm confident some among you that are php-savvy could.

First, the plugin itself offers a possibility to customize bibliography types we want to see in the editor (article, book...) but irrespective of choice I define in the plugin, it keeps showing the whole list of bibliography types. Why?

Next, the real trouble: What I need is to customize the editor in a way to display only particular fields for each bibliography type (article, book...). The "no_show" (plugin.tx_sevenpack_pi1.editor.no show) TS command was very useful in getting rid of the fields I do not use in any bibliography type, and "groups" (plugin.tx_sevenpack_pi1.editor.groups) for setting 'required' and 'optional' fields in the TS. The problem is, I would like to combine the two, i.e. have different fields for each bibliography type, without mixing of the two.

As it is now, all the fields not set in 'required' or 'optional' fields for some bibliography type (and not explicitly hidden with no_show for all of them) are just stacked at the bottom of "Other fields" section.

Example: if I set 'Title' in required field for an "article" bibliography type, I do not wish to have 'Book title' appear in 'Other fields' section and the other way around for "book" bibliography type.

Getting rid of the 'Other fields' section by meddling with editor_view.php (attached) doesn't solve it either, for the unwanted fields are this time appended to 'Optional fields' section.

I'd very much appreciate if someone familiar with the extension could find the way around this, for I have spent a considerable time on this #angry#, although I realize it might not be easy.

Thanks very much for your valiant efforts :o

Regards,
Petar Kos
