facebook_socialplugins: sprache wird nicht erkannt

Habe die Extension facebook_socialplugins installiert mit folgendem TypoScript:

plugin.tx_facebooksocialplugins.language = de_DE

Angezeigt wird im Frontend aber auf Englisch, und im Object Browser sehe ich ebenfalls die Einstellung en_US, was die Standardeinstellung ist:

Warum liest Typo3 hier die Sprache nicht ein? Dankbar für jeden Hinweis!

Fehler gefunden, und vielleicht hilft das ja jemand anderem weiter: Das TypoScript

plugin.tx_facebooksocialplugins.language = de_DE

darf nicht ins Setup geschrieben werden, sondern muss in die Constants.
