Hello everybody,

I use a multi domain typo3 environment. The domains are seperated by a domain element in the typo3 backend.

This worked fine until I changed a detail: In the old setup, the Apache root folder for typo3 was the typo3 folder on the server itself.

In the new setup the Apache root folder is the parent dir of the typo3 folder. There, a .htaccess files rewrites all typo3 things to the typo3 folder. This new setup is necessary to distinguish certain non-typo3 services.

This leads to the follwing setup:
www.domain1.com/typo3/index.php
www.domain2.com/typo3/index.php
www.domain1.com/anotherService

Unfortunately, the domains are no longer correctly seperated by typo3 itself. ALL typo3 requests end up at www.domain1.com's content. Although www.domain2.com was the target.

The domain name itself is NOT rewritten.

I am thankful for any hint!

Hello.

Why don't you just put the other Services into the TYPO3 folder/Webroot? There should be no problem having non-TYPO3 folders beside "fileadmin" etc.

The only thing to do is defining exceptions in the rewrite rules for realurl,... so no rewrites will take effect for the other services/folders.
