UNESCO Bangkok will host the first Thailand Typo3 User Group meeting on 11-13 March 2007.

Typo3, an open source web content management system, has a growing pool of users in Thailand. Several schools in the Phuket area have built Typo3 websites. The Hope of God International Churches of Thailand uses Typo3 provided by the Webempowered church based on TempleVoila. There is a forestry website maintained in Bangkok. We are sure there are others.

The UNESCO Bangkok website is created in Typo3 and maintained by a webteam whose members bring enthusiasm and new ideas to the look and functions of the website. We believe we are the largest Typo3 website in Thailand.

UNESCO Bangkok is delighted to host this first Thailand Typo3 User Group meeting. We are pleased to provide a space where Typo3 practitioners can come together to learn from each other.

Time: 10am – 4pm.

UNESCO will provide refreshments and lunch.

The meeting is limited to 35 participants on a first come first served basis. Participants should bring their own laptop computer with them, preferably wireless enabled.
