Ich habe auch das Buch Praxiswissen Typo3. Die Installation war kein Problem, auch ImageMagick läuft einwandfrei. Ich habe lediglich Probleme mit dem rendern von Schriften. Das Typo3 Install Tool sagt dazu:
FreeType is apparently not installed
It looks like the FreeType library is not compiled into GDLib. This is required when TYPO3 uses GDLib and you'll most likely get errors like 'ImageTTFBBox is not a function' or 'ImageTTFText is not a function'.
Hat jemand gd2 und freetype 1.3.1 installiert und kann damit Schriften rendern?
