vielleicht für einige interessant: Wir haben auf Basis von XAMPP für Mac OS X ein neues Installationspaket für TYPO3 3.8.0 erstellt. Damit kann man TYPO3 und alle nötigen Applikationen ab sofort in einem Verzeichnis unter OS X 10.3 und 10.4 installieren und testen.

habe mal den installer ausprobiert habe aber folgendes Problem.
Wenn ich das XAMPP per Terminal starte bekomme ich folgenden Fehler:
Vigor14:/Users/tim root# /applications/xampp/xamppfiles/mampp start

XAMPP: Error 1! Couldn't start Apache!
XAMPP: Starting MySQL...
XAMPP: Starting ProFTPD...
XAMPP: - getaddrinfo 'Vigor14' error: No address associated with nodename
- warning: unable to determine IP address of 'Vigor14'
- error: no valid servers configured
- Fatal: error processing configuration file '/Applications/xampp/etc/proftpd.conf'
XAMPP: Error 1! Couln't start ProFTPD!
XAMPP for MacOS X started.
Jemand ne Idee woran das liegen könnte? Bin über jede Hilfe sehr dankbar.

Ich würde sagen, der Rechner hat keine IP-Adresse, oder die Namensauflösung stimmt nicht. Was gibt denn 'ifconfig en0' aus?

Wenn er eine IP hätte, würde da was stehen wie z.B.
Ich glaube der versucht sich an das Ethernet zu binden, obwohl es das nicht gibt...

Allerdings bekomme den Fehler beim Start von XAMPP per Terminal immernoch ...
