# The Install Tool is locked.

Hallo!

Ich habe typo3_src-4.2.1 und dummy-4.2.1 in das Verzeichnis /typo3 hochgeladen. (STRATO, BasicWeb XL )

Wenn ich ../install/index.php aufrufe, bekomme ich folgende Meldung:

The Install Tool is locked.

Fix: Create a file typo3conf/ENABLE_INSTALL_TOOL
This file may simply be empty.

For security reasons, it is highly recommended to rename
or delete the file after the operation is finished.

Kann mir bitte jemand erklären, was das bedeutet?
Für eine Lösung des Problems bin ich sehr dankbar!

du musst einfach nur google benutzen .... bzw in typo3conf eine Datei mit dem Namen ENABLE_INSTALL_TOOL (ohne Dateiendung) erstellen.

und nimm bitte 4.2.8 und nicht 4.2.1
