hi...
ich bin neu hier und hab ein Problem, wie sollte es auch anders sein  :D

ich habe eine seite übernommen um sie zu verwalten und ähnliches...
dann wollte ich die sprache auf deutsch umstellen...
ich hab gegooglet :o  und auch einige ähnliche probleme und lösungen gefunden, aber keine die mir helfen würde...

wenn ich im "Ext Manager" auf "Translation handling" gehe und dort "German - [German]" auswähle, dann auf "Update from repository" gehe bekomme ich bei allen die fehlermeldung "Could not fetch translation status".  #angry#  #angry#  #angry#  #angry#
so da ich, wie gesagt, die seite gerade erst übernommen habe und ich mich noch nicht wirklich mit Typo3 auskenne dachte ich, dass es hier in dem Forum bestimmt nette menschen gibt, die mir helfen möchten.
ich weiß das klingt ziemlich dumm und "nooblike" :o , aber ich wäre für eine schritt für schritt anleitung sehr dankbar und würde mich über jede Hilfe freuen.

anmerkung: ich habe version "TYPO3 4.2.0"

Hallo,

ich tippe mal auf einen Proxy. D.h. du solltest mal prüfen, ob TYPO3 direkt ins Internet darf oder ob ein Proxy dazwischen hängt. Falls ja kannst du diesen in der localconf.php angeben, bzw. über das INSTALL TOOL auch eintragen.

Die localconf.php liegt normalerweise in deiner TYPO3 Installation unter typo3conf.

erstma vielen dank für die antwort...

ich habe das passwort und den benutzer namen einfach "übergeben" bekommen und soll mich jetzt darum kümmern. bedeutet, dass ich keine installations datei und auch kein INSTALL TOOL besitze(der meckert rum von wegen

Fix: Create a file typo3conf/ENABLE_INSTALL_TOOL
This file may simply be empty.

or delete the file after the operation is finished**
....heißt das, dass ich erst typo3 laden muss und dann die nötigen schritte einleiten?

ich bin noch mal alles durchgegangen und hab schlussendlich auch die localconf.php datei gefunden, konnte sie aber nicht öffnen...
ich bekam eine fehlermeldung, hey wie solls auch anders sein,
"datei C:/.../localconf.php konnte nicht geöffnet werden"

und das install tool besitz ich nicht mehr, da wie oben beschrieben keine datei bzw ordner existiert...

tja hat noch einer eine idee oder kann ich aufgeben verzweifelt die sprache umzustellen?
