hallo leute ich bin seit heute der neue unter euch und hab gleich die erste frage
ich habe versucht typo3 bei funpic als test umgebung zu instalieren für einen kunden aber das geht nicht bekomm da immer folgende fehler meldung

The Install Tool is locked.

Fix: Create a file typo3conf/ENABLE_INSTALL_TOOL
This file may simply be empty.

For security reasons, it is highly recommended to rename
or delete the file after the operation is finished.

kann mir da einer von euch profis weiter helfen oder kennt einer einen free webspace mit typo3 zu testen

Steht doch da  :D
erstelle eine Textdatei (kann leer sein) mit dem Namen "ENABLE_INSTALL_TOOL" (ohne Endung) und kopiere sie per ftp in das Verzeichnis typ3conf...

hab ich ja gemacht aber es geht nicht

das hast du dich wohl vertippt. Auf groß und kleinschreibung achten!

hab alles so geschrieben wie es in der fehlermeldung steht

Hallo awm-media,

trotzdem kann dann was nicht stimmen !
Datei OHNE ENDUNG (!!!) so geschrieben **ENABLE_INSTALL_TOOL** und
in Dein TYPO3-Verzeichnis in den Ordner **typo3conf/** kopiert ??

Kannst Du mal einen Screenshot Deines ftp-Programms posten ??
