# mm_forum on T3 v.4.0.2 doesn't work, does it? Pls. help.

Hello,

I have installed mm_forum 1.3 both on a T3 v4.0.2 installation and [correction] mm_forum 1.2 on a T3v4.1 one.

In the latter everything is very fine.
In the former, older one the textarea interface does not work, i.e., none javascript:emoticon works. I upgraded sourceopt and inserted the TS line config.xhtml_cleaning =
but the issue is not solved.

Since the older version is on a remote server, I would like to fix the issue straighforwardly without to ask to upgrade T3.

Any advise is welcome

Hello

a further bit of information.
When I try to use the smiley, Mozilla Eror Console complains that:

**Error: post has no properties

Line 105 refers is

```javascript

```

within

```javascript

var caretPos = txtarea.caretPos;

```

It seems that line 105 was modified with v.1.3.
Do you know how I may fix this? has been fixed by v1.4? If so, where do I download the beta 1.4 version?

ich hab leider das gleiche Problem.

T3 v.4.1.2
mm_forum v.0.1.3

Please use the latest version (0.1.4) of mm_forum. You'll find it in the TYPO3 TER, <http://typo3.org/extensions/>.

Concerning your error:

- Make sure, to use the mm_forum designset related to your version.
- Have a look at the template-files new_post.html and new_topic.html. There you'll find the textarea-tag of the field. Correct the id to: id="message"
