# htmlArea 1.2.2 Installation schlägt fehl (SAFE MODE Restriction in effect)

Das bringt mir der Extension Manager beim Import von htmlArea 1.2.2 (auf TYPO3 3.8-) über das Repository und auch beim Installieren von der t3x Datei.

Der Ordner "rtehtmlarea" wird erzeugt und bekommt die Rechte 775. Der Ordner bleibt leer, weil das Install-Script abzubrechen scheint. Habe die Rechte per FTP auf 777 gestellt, aber das funzt auch nicht.

**Kann ich die Extension irgendwie von Hand installieren?**

In Zeile 2193 bis 2203 steht:

		if (mkdir($theNewFolder, octdec($GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['BE']['folderCreateMask']))){
			chmod($theNewFolder, octdec($GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['BE']['folderCreateMask'])); //added this line, because the mode at 'mkdir' has a strange behaviour sometimes

			if($GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['BE']['createGroup'])	{	// skip this if createGroup is empty
				chgrp($theNewFolder, $GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['BE']['createGroup']);
			}
			return TRUE;
		}
	}
