Hallo Leute,

Ich beschäftige mich erst seit kurzem mit Typo 3 und wollte nun die neue Version auf einem neuen Server installieren aber nach der ersten abfrage nach dem User und dem Passwort für die Datenbank die richtig eingegeben sind kommt die Abfrage nach dem

"Enter the Install Tool Password"

"The Install Tool Password is not the admin password of TYPO3.
If you don't know the current password, you can set a new one by setting the value of $TYPO3_CONF_VARS['BE']['installToolPassword'] in typo3conf/localconf.php to the md5() hash value of the password you desire."

wenn ich hier joh316 eingebe so wie es ind der localconf.php vorgegeben ist komme ich nicht weiter.

wenn ich ein neues eingebe bekomme ich den md5-value
und wenn ich den in der localconf.php speichere ändert sich auch nichts.

Was will er für ein passwort ?

hi eddi - guck mal, ob der wert $TYPO3_CONF_VARS["BE"]["installToolPassword"] in der localconf aus versehen zweimal vorkommt. hatten wir neulich.

Das wars zwar nicht aber das Problem lag an meinem IE6.0 im Firefox ging es sofort..
