# symlink not allowed - Problem nach Installation

Hallo,

ich wollte gerade TYPO3 4.0.3 installieren.

Die Dateien liegen im richtigen Ordner, Server läuft, nur bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung 403 Forbidden im  Browser.

Ein Blick in die error.log meines Apaches sagt mir:

**Symbolic link not allowed: /var/www/cms/typo3/index.php**

in meiner httpd.conf hab ich (meiner Meinung) nach die Symlinks erlaubt:

**<directory varwwwcmstypo3="">
Options +FollowSymLinks
</directory>**

hab ich da etwas falsch gemacht?

So hast Du es doch wohl nicht eingetragen - oder?

<Directory /var/www/cms/>
Options FollowSymLinks MultiViews
...
AllowOverride None
Order allow,deny
allow from all
</Directory>

doch  o.O  das hatte ich irgendwo so gelesen.

jedenfalls hab ich jetzt die httpd.conf in folgendes geändert:

**<Directory /var/www/cms/>
Options FollowSymLinks MultiViews
AllowOverride None
Order allow,deny
allow from all
</Directory>**

leider bekomme ich immer wieder den gleichen fehler 403 im browser und die error.log sagt immer noch

**[error] [client 127.0.0.1] Symbolic link not allowed: /var/www/cms/typo3/index.php**

Ich hab eine Lösung gefunden.

Der erste Symlink typo3_src zeigte ins Leere.

habe ihn gelöscht und mit dem richtigen Ziel angelegt und schwupps, klappts
