# Einmal mehr entryLevel...

Hallo

Ich verliere gleich meine Nerven...

Ich habe eine Seite mit folgendem Aufbau:

Hauptmenu 1
Hauptmenu 2
Hauptmenu 3
-Submenu 1
-Submenu 2
--Subsubmenu 1
--Subsubmenu 2

Einen Level über den Hauptmenupunkten habe ich die Menus definiert:

-Ein Menu mit entryLevel 0 (=Hauptmenu)
-Ein Menu mit entryLevel 1 (=Submenu)

Nun Habe ich auf Submenu 1 ein neues Template erstellt, da diese Seite ein anderes HTML-Template verwendet. Dort sollen sowohl das Hauptmenu als auch das Submenu angezeigt werden. Also habe ich dort  diese 2 Menus erstellt:

-Ein Menu mit entryLevel -1 (=Hauptmenu)
-Ein Menu mit entryLevel 0 (=Submenu)

Nun wird keines dieser beiden Menus angezeigt. Hier der relevante Teil meines TS:

Kann ja nicht gehen...

> To light this a little bit up you just need some logic:
> The "outermost" level definitely has to be the current level since a rootline is always ONE branch of a tree. If "outermost" could mean the "end of a branch" you couldn't say which end, since the current page could have more than one branch in the ascending direction, but there can be only one branch to follow in the descending direction. This means:

> Positive values for entryLevel are always counted from the rootpage (0) and they are "fixed" values. Negative values are always counted descending from the current page and therefor kind of "variable" values.

> W --> Rootlevel (0)
> |_X --> Level 1
