# Edit-option is not set in TypoScript

Kann mir bitte jemand einen Tipp geben, wie man:

Edit-option is not set in TypoScript

wegbekommt? Das war mehr oder weniger auf einmal da - ich kann mich jedenfalls nicht daran erinnern, im Zusammenhang mit der srfeuserregister etwas geändert zu haben. Bis jetzt kam ich mich prima über den Link zum Anmelde-/Login-Formular.

Clear Constants und Setup, sowie
plugin.feadmin.fe_users.create.editOnLogin = 1
haben keinen Erfolg gebracht.

Hallo dirk01

Hat sich bei Dir inzwischen etwas ergeben wegen dem Eintrag ergeben.
Bei mir tauchte die Meldung:
"Edit-option is not set in TypoScript" gerade auf, nachdem ich die front end user registration upgedated habe.Auch ein deinstallieren und reinstallieren der alten bekommt es nicht weg. Irgend etwas wurde geaendert nur habe ich keine Ahnung was und wo! #paralyzed#

Hi,

ich hatte das Problem auch gerade und stand erstmal etwas planlos da.
Der "Fehler" kommt nach dem Update auf die aktuelle Version. Der Grund hierfür steht im Manual zur Extension:

> Upgrading to version 2+
>
> When you upgrade from an older version to version 2+, you need to add a static template to your TS template, otherwise the extension will not work.
>
> If you add the FE User Registration Old Style static template, the extension should function exactly the same way as version 1.6.8.
>
> If you add the FE User Registration CSS-styled static template, you need to re-adapt your HTML template and your CSS styles. You should probably try it first with the default template and the default CSS styles.

Die Lösung des Problems ist relativ einfach, da man nur im Template bei "Include static (from extension)" den Eintrag "FE User Registration Old Style" übernehmen muss.

Ich hab mal einen Screenshot erstellt, wo das wäre (vielleicht einfacher verständlich *g):

Danach läuft die Benutzerregistrierung wie vor dem Update.
