# Issues with forum subscription

Hi,

We have installed typo3_forum on our website and are experiencing issues with forum subscriptions.

1. When the user clicks the subscribe button, he is correctly subscribed to a particular forum (we can see this in the BE) however after the page relaods the unsubscribe button is not shown. Only after we clear the cache in the BE is the unsubscribe button shown. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening.

2. Subscription to individual posts seems to work fine and the emails are sent out to the users. However subscription to a complete forum does not seem to work. If the user subscribes to a forum and new topics are created by other users, they are not informed about the new posts even though they are subscribed to the forum.

Anyone have a an idea why this is happening and what we could do to solve the problem?
