# Imagerendering jpeg > png ab Typo3 6.x?

Hab soeben bemerkt dass Typo3 anscheinend ab Typo3 6.0
die Bilder welche ich als jpeg hochlade als
png rendert.

**Wie kann ich das ausschalten?**
Ich laden ein Bild (jpeg) mit 98 kb hoch Typo3 wandelt es als png um und
hat dann stolze 539 kb

habs gefunden

ab typo3 6.0
darf man scheinbar nicht mehr

$TYPO3_CONF_VARS['GFX']['thumbnails_png'] = '3';

was ich bisher immer hatte jetzt
muss es

$TYPO3_CONF_VARS['GFX']['thumbnails_png'] = '1';

heißen dann passts.
