# The forced character set "utf8" was not found in t3lib/csconvtbl/

Hi,

Have an interesting one and just cannot find the solution. I have a website with russian and slovak characters.
Adding

```php
$TYPO3_CONF_VARS['BE']['forceCharset'] = 'utf8';
$TYPO3_CONF_VARS['SYS']['setDBinit'] = 'SET NAMES utf8'.chr(10).'SET character_set_connection = utf8';
$TYPO3_CONF_VARS['SYS']['UTF8filesystem'] = 1;
```

to localconf.php

and

to the Main Template

```php
metaCharset = utf-8
#renderCharset = utf-8
additionalHeaders = Content-Type:text/html;charset=utf-8
```

will show the website BE/FE with the correct characters. However when trying to login into the BE following message appears "The forced character set "utf8" was not found in t3lib/csconvtbl/"

It is true it is not available in t3lib/csconvtbl/ but I believe it does not have to be there, because it is utf8.

As soon as I delete the section again in localconfig.php things work again, however the website shows not with the special characters but cryptic ones.

hi,

the value for $TYPO3_CONF_VARS['BE']['forceCharset'] should be 'utf-8' not 'utf8'.
